For commercial and industrial consultants and installers: expected generation from PVGIS data, cash flow, NPV, IRR, payback and LCOE, scenarios side by side and a report ready to send. Without rebuilding the spreadsheet for every proposal.
Why Voltperia
Your client isn't buying kWh: they're buying a return. Voltperia joins the generation estimate with the project's economics, so every proposal answers what the client asks: what it costs, when it pays back and what happens if the assumptions change.
NPV · IRR · LCOE
plus simple and discounted payback, for every scenario
Side by side
alternative sizes, investments and tariffs in one table
PDF + Excel
with your brand and the financial model as formulas
The exported Excel recalculates the cash flow from the same assumptions and gives the same results as the platform.
Honest about what it calculates.
Voltperia calculates the value of the energy generated with the tariff and self-consumption you enter, and says so. Actual savings depend on the load profile, the tariff structure and export compensation: we don't make them up when that data is missing.
Methodology
Generation starts from the PVGIS typical meteorological year, from the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, with irradiance transposed to the module plane, incidence-angle losses and the PVGIS power model. Against the official PVGIS calculator, at six sites in Spain, Mexico and Argentina, the performance ratio differs by 0.4% to 1.5%. The financial model is standard and transparent: every indicator can be traced back to its formula.
Joint Research Centre · European Commission
Typical meteorological year with satellite irradiance (SARAH2, NSRDB) or ERA5 reanalysis, depending on the region.
The same one PVGIS uses
Hay-Davies transposition, incidence-angle losses and Huld efficiency with Faiman module temperature.
Traceable
Nominal cash flow with degradation and escalations; NPV, IRR, payback and LCOE as formulas you can inspect in the Excel.
How it works
Mark the site on the map and enter the system size. We simulate a typical year's generation with PVGIS data.
Enter investment, O&M, tariff and discount rate. Cash flow, NPV, IRR, payback and LCOE update instantly.
Create alternative scenarios, see which assumption matters most and download the client report as PDF or Excel.

FAQ
The site location and the system size. With that we simulate generation and, with reference financial assumptions, you already see a cash flow. Those assumptions stay flagged until you enter the project's own: investment, O&M, tariff and discount rate.
It's a P50 estimate from the PVGIS typical meteorological year, using the same power model as PVGIS: against its official calculator, the performance ratio differs by 0.4% to 1.5%. A given year can land somewhat above or below, and the model doesn't know about near shading or inverter clipping.
No, and we say so explicitly. We calculate the value of the energy generated with the tariff, self-consumption and export price you enter. Actual savings require the client's load profile, the full tariff structure and the compensation scheme.
Yes, on paid plans. The exported Excel has each scenario with assumptions in editable cells and the cash flow, NPV, IRR, payback and LCOE as formulas: change an assumption and everything recalculates.
Practically any point on land: PVGIS has global coverage. Amounts are entered in the project's currency (USD, EUR, MXN, BRL, CLP, COP and others).
